I get that kind of screen corruption sometimes, but only when I log in from the office which has a much slower internet connection than I do at home (2mb in office, 20mb at home)

It is more likely to happen when the office is busy and we are maxing the bandwidth available.

I think its your internet connection or isp.

That happens when your browser can't/doesn't load the stylesheet. Usually I'd say clear the cache but you've done that Sad

I have different style weirdness...

Sometimes the author blocks to the left of the messages start to cross over to the following posts. Not doing it at the moment, so can't post a screenshot. Ctrl-F5 always fixes it, but it often seems to come back.
