Car is a March '07 HSE, it was serviced at 15k Miles in Jan '08, Dealer had it for sale since May '08 until Nov'08 when we bought it at 19k Miles. They advised us it would not need another service until May'09 as they had done the LRA check/service? on it.
The Dash is now saying service due I guess as it's 12 Months since the last actual service done.
I'm about to do the thick end of a 2k Mile round trip and don't want to have Warranty issues in the future because the Car has not been serviced in accordance with schedule so want to be sure and think I probably know the answer ( that the Dealer was not entirely correct in the information they gave, Put very politely  ) but can anybody confirm whether the LRA check/service? counts as part of the Service History

If it has a stamp in the book within the last 12 months I would say the warranty is not an issue. If not I would get the dealer to stamp the book up, and get them to clarify when the next service is due. All main dealers will give the car a safety check before you collect the car - may be the service indicator hasn't been reset?

I always go about 2000 miles over the due service mileage ...never had any problem with warranty work 
By doing this my next service (75000 ) is due at about 80000 ..so i will get it serviced at 82000...
Because i do a lot of miles ..this way i get a bit longer inbetween services G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
