Service due - MY16 SE only. |
|
I've done several searches without success.
I have a MY16 SE, built October 2015.
I have yet to see any display come up to remind me that a yearly service is due.
The dealer has suggested that my model doesn't have this feature.
Can any SE model owner confirm what I should or should not expect to see?
Thank you NSE.

Service indicator is a feature on all models, but sometimes has to be enabled in the ccf to kick into life. Oh, and that dealer is talking out of his LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

I didn't get a service reminder on my display but I had booked it in a year almost to the day - hadn't really thought about it until this thread

Thank you all very much for your replies, so it looks as though I don't have a fault after all.
When I bought the Disco last year, it only had 3 miles on the clock - so it seems strange that the 'service due indicator' would have been switched off.
Looks like the Land Rover trained technician needs to join this forum for his training. (I had been advised that some Discos didn't have such an indicator).
I would just add that the service sheet I was given had had the 'Reset service indicator' and 'Re-set (sic) oil level indicator' ticked as have being done!
Rather dents my confidence.

Mine is a MY16 SE, it definitely has the service indicator, though mine can't make up its mind. One minute it says service required, then service required in 450 miles and so on.
My dealer said to ignore it and take it in on 16000, or 12 month interval.
