Just passed the 7500 miles and I see that the service message is showing when I first start the car.
Having looked at the Service Book, it indicates the first service is due at 15,000 miles -
Is this normal for the message at 7500 - and can it be ignored or do I need to take it back to dealers to get this re-set or "serviced"
What should a reasonable price be for the first service ?

It's 15000 or 1 year. When did you buy it?
1st service is about £250-£400 depends where you go!
2nd service is about £300 - £600(!!!) top end is usually stratstones....  Bodsys Brake Bible

I bought this back in September with 5k on clock - but car was first reg Dec 07 - so I guess that will explain the message. TDV6 HSE - Silver
