I'm just looking around as my third year (45k even though I am about 9k away from that) service is going to be due soon.
Anyone have any recommendations for dealerships in and around North London (could be Hertfordshire as well) that would do a good job and are reasonably priced?
I've just called Hadley Green Land Rover in Barnet and they've quoted £420 inc VAT.
If there's is someone within 50miles from where I live, I might consider that too, but it would have to be for a good reason.
Also, I'm up near Kings Lynn quite a bit so any reviews on the Hunters dealership there?

I wish I knew of one.
Hadley Green sent me a bill for a gallon of diesel after the vehicle broke down and was recovered to them. After 2 days they couldnt fix it and the communication was poor. I would of thought the fuel would have been lost in the bill to landrover. They were good at writing to ask for their 4 quid.
Hainault Landrover I have used many times. I have never been that impressed and communication has been poor in the past.
I dont known of the Herts dealers but it may be worth a try.
Please let me know if you are recommended someone.
Sorry cant be more positive whats needed is a good smaller operator if one exists.

Try Guy Salmon Thames Ditton ...obtain some prices and they will generally price match or be very close to it. Great service too  21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

so far the prices have varied substantially....
3rd year - 45k service
JLC - £265 + VAT
Charles Hurst Park Royal - £450 inc VAT
Pilling Welwyn £373.92 inc VAT
Very strange indeed...
Anyone else had any experience with JLC?

I've used Stratstones (Hainault) only for warranty work - I would NEVER go there again - they were appalling!
If thats a gauge I shudder to think what their service work is like.
I also used Beadles (Sidcup) again for warranty and had two doors re-sprayed by them. Very professional and communication was excellent. No idea what servicing (or cost) is like, but I would expect a pretty good level from them.
I had my last service at Yeovil Land Rover and that was a good experience and cost was good - the money saved paid for my diesel each way and a good breakfast. Excellent service from them.

Has anyone here had any experience of the Battersea branch (I know there's a CH site sponsor N of the River).
Tried to buy through Battersea and they were utter muppets, failed to call back when messages left about cars, etc. I wondered if their servicing bay was any better than their sales? PAGODA

For serviceing, try 10forCash (Iain), 45k service done properly is under the prices quoted, and he comes to you

Well I've just booked mine in at Yeovil again for it's 4th service. TBH the only one in my area I would consider, would be CHPR, they were very good to me when I had to have something sorted under ext wty, but for servicing, they seem to always quote on the pricey side, AND they want to charge for a loan car  ..... So it's a day off work,and a 'FAT BOY' breakfast for me too I'm afraid.

If you don't mind an independent then Kings Langley LR have always been reasonable.
They quoted £355 for a 60K. Same a Yeovil but 200 miles less traveling..
