Rather than start a new thread.

Just purchased the car shades for our Disco.

Having a bit of a problem with the rear passenger doors, boot area shades fit nicely.

I cant seem to get them to fit well on the rear passenger doors. For those that have them, do you need to really push them down and against the vertical window strut, as without doing this they just seem to have a crease in them. The gap seems too small to push them between the strut and the upper door trim..

Instructions are pretty low res photos so not clear at all. I haven't stuck on the sticky clip things yet, as no point until I can see it will sit nicely.

Tried calling car shades, but no answe.

Cheers Thumbs Up

They do require a gentle push to get them to sit into place - but nothing major, and once they're in I find the rear passenger door shades to be the best fit of the whole set. If they aren't fitting properly for you, maybe try swapping them over to the opposite doors? Off the top of my head, I think they are actually 'sided' rather than one shade fitting either window.

Have a watch of this...

https://www.blinds4cars.com/land-rover-dis...-716-p.asp

Don't be initially put off by the fact it's a Ford or a little clunky. Stick with it, he covers all the clips that come with the D4 Car shades kit and fitting to the Ford is super similar to the D4.

I agree that the paper instructions were akin to a chocolate tea pot but this video sorted me out.

Thumbs Up
