Regularly carry stuff in the shower tray so don't see a problem.

As for using the shower in the van, completely depends on the site we are on. If the on site facilities are excellent then we use them. If they aren't then we use our own.

Don't carry anything heavy in the shower. I'm convinced that's what cracked oirs.
They're really not very strong and often have poor support underneath. Thumbs Up

Thinking thru the broad physics here. Showers must be designed to consider a (roughly) 110kg person standing on one foot. As long as nothing is sharp I can't conceive anything that would breach design limits. I think lateral loads ... Slumping/falling against shower sides would be more of an issue.

Normal caravan load rules low/heavy ... high/light.

We had the aquaroll in a bag in there as its the perfect shape for the round shiwer tray, not particulary heavy but i think the great British pothole system turned it into a 10lb hard plastic impact driver Laughing

Our shower cracked by the waste ( elldis crusader )although i did it with my heel not storage related .but told by repairer that its a common issue as too much support gets cut out to get the waste connection made.so think the earlier suggestion of a load spreader is sound advice if your going to store stuff in there Thumbs Up
