Definitively
The 2004/5 D3, the perfect blend of Defender capability and practicality with FFRR luxury.
Functionally design at it's best.
They both lookk good though. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
2010 D4 HSE (A bit bling)-GONE
2014 D4 HSE (Almost too bling)-GONE
2015 D4 HSE (A heated what?)-GONE
2016 D4 Landmark (Written Off)-GONE
2016 D4 Landmark (Surely the last!) PD1881 rims-GONE
2017 FFRR SDV8 Autobiography (now semi-retired)

The 2004/5 is no more functional than 2006/2010 if both on same wheels

There's an argument for the black arches and bumper trim being more practical and the availability of clear bulbs in isolated parts of the world being better than orange bulbs.
I've also read somewhere that the original grille was more protective.
Small points I agree, 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

D4 for me. Had one just like it, but swapped for a black one, and a bit newer, but I do like the silver look.
Luckily I sold it to a neighbor, so still get to look at it!
