Certainly more compact and lighter than my Howling Moon but is it as robust I wonder ? Looks well though The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;

Thats a big plus over the HW. Also I cannot get my tent on the roof on my own due to size and shape but mostly weight, with that one i may have a chance. I will have to stick with the HW for the time being
Edit My tent weighs in at 110lbs so lighter by 40lbs Still maybe easier to handle with hard shell. The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;

I've always wondered about the practilitys of roof tents, it's bad enough getting up for the bathroom when camping, without being 6ft off the ground and needing to negotiate a ladder.
What weight capacity is a roof rack speced to on a disco? By the time you've got rack, tent, sleeping kit, you must be looking at 50kg? Add a couple of 100kg blokes and you must be over the static load rating? 2008 TDV8 Sport HSE

Same with my wife but she loved the roof tent The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
