I've just installed my sliding floor - courtesy of supplier nonsticknick and courier Bodsy!
It is a great piece of kit and looks like it is going to be everything I need... One minor problem, despite tweaking the position / alignment of the rails with washers I can't get it to glide smoothly in and out.
It grinds as it goes and a scrape mark is clearly visible along both the guide rails and extruded alloy moulding of the floor.
Has anyone experienced something similar and what was your fix?
It is possible that I have knocked it and bent something but I can't see what.

was it brand new?
Bodsy, think its time you should buy a sprinter A happy childhood ... is the worst possible preparation for life.
Sounds like there is a sharp edge that picked up somewhere, can you disconnect one from the shelf and see if that one and the other run smoothly without being connected.

i had one a few months back , go tit off fleabay for £60 , sold it for £190 once i was done with it
but i had the same issue, tried to adjust a few times but in the end lived with it , its not a precise piece of kit , the roller system ,but handy for those LARGE costco shops I have enough money to last me the rest of my life.Unless i buy something..
Mmmmm... well mine wasn't new and I may well have ended up with yours... don't know the history of it.
Will function perfectly well just a little odd having a scraping noise and that metal on metal.
I'll try to run one end at a time and see if I can diagnose the problem. Then it is vaselene if alll else fails.

I've fitted two and have had the same issue on both.I just took the floor rails off and refitted them again and it solved it straight away.I haven't a clue what i did , but don't live with it.

Would of helped in hind sight whoops.
When I first fitted mine I had the same problem. I adjusted the rails by putting a washer under each of the rear mount points.
Mine (now yours) was brand new in the box when fitted so I guess from what other have said it is a common problem.
If you send me your address I will send you some rings to go on the cargo rail that is fitted to the floor.

I also had issues similar when fitting mine. What it needed was the release handle cable adjusted as it wasn't taking the lock out of the rail properly when fully 'open' . Simple to do - just like bike brakes.

Did it come with the additional metal bits/jig to keep the rails in the correct position when bolting them in?2020 SDV6 D5 HSE, Carpathian Grey +

I agree with John C,
I bought mine new but (cheap) off the dealer and I watched them fit it for me.
New from the box it had 2 aluminium angles bolted in place to act as a jig to keep the whole thing square and true, which were then removed once to two main side rails were bolted in as one unit.
I took mine out recently to go on holiday, and re-fitted it last week (without using the jigs) and had exactly the same problem of it sticking and being very hard to move.
I still have the two aluminium angles somewhere in the garage, so I will take the whole thing out again this weekend, re-fit the jigs and then try again.
