Resurrecting this issue - was there any definitive answer or resolution to this?

I have an occasional surge or hunting when the engine is not under load. This can be whilst using cruise control but also (when warmed up) when I put it in park or neutral (so again when engine is not under load)

Otherwise all works fine, pulls well etc in normal driving.
