Sluggish pulling away

Hi all,

Just taken ownership of a 56 plate D3 TDV6. On a few occasions it's felt really really sluggish to pull out of junctions - could this be the infamous EGR problems that I've read about? Doesn't seem to be doing it all the time and there's no smoke or anything else untoward.

Cheers!
