Small detour in France

On our way up from St Tropez, we made a 'small' detour to the Col du Parpaillon after being inspired by Lineman75's March picture in the calendar. Instead of going up the auto routes, we went into the Alps, through the Col du Parpaillon, into Italy for a short while then through the Frejus Tunnel (with a hold up there of 1.5hours) and stopped overnight at Annecy. The journey took over 12 hours, much to the annoyance of SWMBO. I told her it would only add a couple of hours to the trip Laughing . Views were fantastic.

The Disco behaved perfectly on our holiday for over 2400 miles. What an amazing vehicle! Shooting down the autoroutes, winding up and down hairpin bends on narrow alpine lanes and bouncing over the rough stuff at 9500ft all in total comfort.
