Snapped hub stud

I have a wheel nut which has snapped off the the hub stud

Firstly is it safe enough to run on 4 wheel nuts only ?

And I assume the only fix is a new hub ?

Your help much appreciated chaps

I would not drive around with only four wheel nuts.

If you can find a stud then it can be replaced, IIRC they are not available as separate part though Big Cry

The old stud can be punched out, towards the differential.
I don't think replacement studs are available although they are for some other cars.
A recovered stud can be fitted and I have 4, 1 of which I could send you.
BUT. I previously sent a stud to another member and although I had to use a club hammer to extract it he found that it rotated when fitted in his hub. This might be due to a design change, my hub is an original from 2005, or the hole in his hub may have been enlarged when the wheelnut was over tightened.
Can you see how difficult it is to hammer out your broken stud and try to identify if your hub is an original or a replacement?.
If you let me know and PM me your address I'll post you a stud.

Personally I think 4 wheelnuts should be sufficient short-term but you might have balance problems.

Probably best. The state of the wheelnut looks pretty grim. If any of the other nuts are corroded onto their studs you could have further failures.
Advice from the forum is not to buy the cheapest hubs because of their short lifespan.
