Brilliant!! Off-road in a steep field - Hill Descent is great (use the cruise control buttons to alter its speed!) & back up a steep hill that is muddy under snow no problem at all. Slightly disappointing that neither of the diff locks showed as being activeted on the 4x4 screen, but guess the traction control is that good! Good luck to all you south of the border fro when the snow hits you - this weather is supposed to last the next 2 weeks!!

Lucky snows dogs... been a trying to snow in Shropshire today but keeps stopping
Really want to be one of the few able to drive around in the snow... even if its just for the hell of it.
So... how do you know its on its way south and here for next two weeks ? Be great if it was.

It's snowing in Cambridge now (at last)
Notice total lack of Discovery to go and play in
But am going out for a 100 mile drive in a 2 litre turbocharged Series 3
Should be fun! Have a good day all those going out in the snow

Bright and sunny here in Sussex, not a cloud in the sky - looks more like shorts weather than snow

Hi Simon,
Well at least you've more chance of snow "ooop north" than down here in "sunny, but bloody freezing Wiltshire".
It's so cold down here that even the muddy puddles, which I use to go off-road upon are frozen like rock. It's not so much the mud and ruts setting but rock crawl.
On a lighter note however have you had much success with the Infotainment and touch screen hacks (hidden menus)? I've been able to see the touch screen hidden menus, but they only seem to be in a read-only state, and I cant change anything, but as for the Infotainment hack this is a no go, it just doesn't let me in.

Big Al... never thought I'd ever call a bloke that by the way
Don't have the Sat Nav here ooop north !
Only I seem to not have a personalisation feature available... ie a Settings Menu.
Enjoy the rock crawl setting... we just have mud here and no flimping snow or ice yet... setting one on the TR would be great to play with again.
Used it after Chrimbo as we had snow then. But not since.
Those in the East of E should be enjoying their D3's in the morning though.

Those of us over here without D3's might do too Fancy a trip over to take me out in yours?
Weather in Cambs and Hertfordshire today was intermittent sleety snow showers. Perfect for a 5 hour drive in a Land Rover Series 3 with no rear roof!

You never know... we may all descend on you one day and demand our web-master buy us a beer
If I was in your neck of the woods I'd have have no problem taking you for a jolly in the D3.
