So

Following on from Club Classics Vol 1, another iconic album of the 1980s is currently getting an airing in the car.

Peter Gabriel's "So" from 1986

Red Rain
Sledgehammer
Don't Give Up
That Voice Again
Mercy Street
Big Time
We Do What We're Told (Milgram's 37)
This Is the Picture (Excellent Birds)
In Your Eyes

Can't decide which track I like best. It's between Red Rain, Don't Give Up and In Your Eyes. Confused

Nope, I think Don't Give Up gets it, as would Kate Bush Thumbs Up

Cracking year for me musically, I was lucky enough to see Queen perform Live Magic at Knebworth.

Harking back to my teens? Midlife crisis? Moi?

Big Cry
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I'd second that... (both statements... Laughing ) There is a saying that goes something like "one (a bird) in the hand is worth 10 in the bush..." I've always looked at it as one in Kate Bush is worth 10 in the hand..."
The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Club "yes, I too have had the EGR's replaced..."
Club "yes, I too have had the compressor replaced..."
Club "yes, I too once had the car at the dealer for a couple of weeks nearly 4 weeks over 4 weeks...5 weeks"
Club "yes, I too have had EPB failure..."
Club "yes, I too get mysterious bings and bongs..."

I've got his Hit/Miss compilation.
From that I like:

Biko - love the African drum and build up.

Grieve - it's soulfulness!

Good man that PG
Thumbs Up

Indeed. Have the "shaking the tree" compilation, which also has Biko on it Thumbs Up

Favourite Genesis track with PG on vocals has to be "I know what I like"
