went with the tech paint in the end because it was textured , must admit , also wondered about the arches bumpers etc , might actually try the textured paint if the A bar comes out ok

I do like that, I think that the different blacks (matt, gloss, etc.) make it look good.
With my Stornoway Grey, I've gone for a personal "black-pack"upgrade which does similar, using matt black and gloss black finishes on wheels, grills and trim to set it off. I'll grab some pics tomorrow to show.2008 D3 HSE Stornoway Grey (UK)
