[For Sale] 2005 Discovery 3 SE
I have decided that it's time to move on, and so my Disco is for sale. I've owned it for three years.
It's been very reliable. Never an issue starting, even in sub zero conditions - not that we get that very often in Dorset.
There has been a lot of work done on her, and the new owner certainly won't have to do any of the usual things that need to be done to these vehicles.
So here's the spec and a list of jobs.
First registered 6/1/2005. It's an SE, but pretty heavily specced.
Automatic
Tonga Green.
130,000 miles
Sat Nav, with Nav on Move. 2015 maps.

New side steps.
D4 grille. Also included is the original D3 grille.
Grey smooth wheel arches. Also included are the original black arches.
New 20" wheels - genuine Land Rover
4 new Pirelli Scorpion tyres - less than 1000 miles on them.
Original 18" wheels are included. Use them as winter wheels.
Full service history - I have used Bournemouth Land Rover independant whilst I've had the vehicle.
Belts and pulleys changed at 105812 miles by Hunters Land Rover in Southampton.
EGR's blanked
Replaced a few months ago: Upper rears arms, lower front arms, track rod ends, inner track rods, front and rear drop links, front and rear anti roll bar bushes. All bought from Advanced Factors - the heavy duty ones.
Full 4 wheel alignment
Rear brake pipe (the one that goes across) replaced.
Handbrake cable guides replaced.
4 new injectors.
New Body Control Module
New Engine Management Module.
Reconditioned Transfer Box
New front and rear propshafts
Gearbox flush done by Geoff.
Socket for removing wheel nuts instead of the chocolate based one LR provide.
Personal plate is included.
One nice feature is remote control for the Fuel Burning Heater. Using the third button on the key, turning on the headlights for between 1 and 5 seconds turns the heater on. Turn the headlights on for between 6 and 30 seconds, and the heater turns off. It will turn off anyway after 30 mins, or when you turn on the ignition. Great in cold weather. It blows warm air as soon as you start the engine!
It's due for it's B service and MOT, but I will do that, so it won't need a service or MOT for a year. Oh, and of course it is in the lower road tax bracket.
I'm looking for £8500. I think this is fair, considering the amount of work done on it.
