[For Sale] 2010 VW Golf GTI Mk6 5dr Grey - Full VW History (59k mls)
Hello,
I bought this GTI as a "sensible" sidekick to the D3 for when I wanted to commute or nip around town without hauling the weight of the Disco with me. However, due to a recent change in jobs I am being given a company fleet vehicle which will serve this purpose, so the GTI is no longer needed. Therefore I'm (very reluctantly) offering it for sale and hoping to find a new home for it.
Summary:
2010 Volkswagen Golf 2.0 GTI Manual
210bhp
5 Doors
Metallic Grey
GTI tartan black cloth interior
Full VW Main Dealer Service History - 7 stamps in the book
59,100 mls
2 keys
4x new tyres in Nov 2016
All the usual GTI features inc. honeycomb red lined grille, GTI decals, twin chrome exhaust, tinted glass, flat bottomed racing steering wheel, golf ball GTI gear knob, racing seats etc.
Upgrades:
18" VW Monza Shadow Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels (excellent condition)
Bluetooth telephone and music integration
Xenon headlights with DRLs
Full correction detail in May 2015 - 3 days of work costing £300. Paintwork is now incredible.
The honest bit:
As it's been mostly a motorway cruiser it has a few very minor stone chips around the front bumper and wings which are not obvious or anything unusual for a vehicle of this age.
The diamond cut alloys are all absolutely perfect apart from one ~1cm chip on the outer edge of the front N/S rim (only visible if you're as OCD as me!).
Sometimes when cold and under load, the clutch can make an audible chirping noise. I've had this diagnosed by VW at a service and apparently it's common (from the throw out bearing). They advised it wont get any worse and isn't causing any damage, so not to bother replacing the part until renewing the clutch. The clutch has otherwise been confirmed as in good condition to no spend required for a while!
This car has been absolutely superb and I'll be sad to see it go. I've been completely transparent above so you know what you're getting.
Looking for £9,850 which I think is a very fair price for a superb example with excellent history.
