[Sold] 2016 D4 Landmark
2016 EU6 D4 Landmark. FLRSH, 65,600 miles.
Santorini Black, Ebony Leather, Piano Black trim.
Standard very comprehensive Landmark spec. Rear screen entertainment, extended leather, top spec. Meridian system etc. etc.
I fitted the cubby fridge and swapped the silver extended roof rails for black ones. Front mudflaps fitted and I have the rear ones.
Full rubber mat set, inc boot and 3rd row. Also have the oe carpet mats and hatchbag boot and tailgate liner.
Last month the actuator switch was sticking open occasionally on the second turbo, so LR fitted a whole new turbo unit under the extended warranty.
Will come with a set of 5 mint condition Diamond Cut 20” rims with good Pirelli Scorpion tyres. Currently fitted with set of 5 PD1881 18” rims, to be sold separately
WBAC offered £23k today, but LR dealer will give me £25,100 as a px next week.
Will accept £26k ovno as is, excluding the 18”rims. Or it will be stripped off some of the goodies and be px’ed.
Rubbish photos, but I only decided to sell today and it needs a clean.

Del, I’m going to have to go to the shed and check the 20” wheels. I took them straight off when I bought it and as I’ve had three sets of 20”s I can’t remember which style they are.
I think it’s a bit of a bargain as well.
It has the swanky diamond cut 20” alloys.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Yes.
I’ve spent the last year or two considering every option. Everything is a compromise, there simply isn’t a direct replacement for the D4 (for me). So I’m going to scratch an itch I’ve had for a while and buy a MY17 SDV8 Autobiography.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Good question. I’ve seriously considered keeping it until it or I die.
I do around 25k miles pa, so I either get rid of it soon, at sub 70k miles whilst it has a reasonable value or I hang on. I did the later with my D3, selling it at nearly 150k miles. I don’t really want the aggro of the added maintenance which it’s likely to need from around 100k miles on.
I seriously considered buying another “work” car and keeping the D4 for the weekends, moving stuff and when the weather is bad etc. But I’ve got 5 cars already and don’t really want or have room for another.
I can live without the additional seats. Biggest compromises with the L405 will be the rear seats not folding completely flat and 20” rims being the smallest I can fit over the SDV8 brakes.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

That's exactly what I am going to do next either at the end of next year or 2021, depending on my ability to save enough!
D4 is magical as an offroader, an adventure travel vehicle and a luxury transporter, in equal, uncompromised proportions. So no matter what you do across the year, the car is still uncompromised in any aspect. I don't feel that anything else out there had the design to match the D4's perfect mixture, and the Defender isn't doing it for me sadly, so that leaves a D5, and if I'm going 'posh', I might as well do it properly.
All subject to change of course but that's my current plan. I'm currently torn between 4.4 diesel or thr 5.0 petrol (I only do about 3k a year)
Looking forward to hearing how you find the move D4 XS, gone, much loved, never forgotten

I’m a big SDV8 fan, but for 3,000 miles a year it’s got to be the petrol! 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4

I will be interested to hear how you get on with the FF and your choice to ditch the d4. . I am in same situation . last d4 did 112k before chopping it for this one new. Now on 92k, can't find anything to match it so thinking to keep it and get a run around, even though already have 5 cars here too...kids are grown up so 7 seats not a thing anymore but I do like the load space....d4 HSE
