[Sold] Complete OzTent RV5
Hello All. 5% site donation has been made from successful sale
Well, I would like a new awning for my tin tent. Non-use of this awesome gear due to new family member dictates that I cannot have both. Nor can the garage cope with all my hobbies at once.
So, here it is, a complete set-up for £1200. I believe that a new RV5 on its own without sides etc when available can be between £1050 and £1150 depending where you like to shop.
Lets give it a few weeks as a full kit before splitting down lovely team. If there happens to be any interest (unlikely) then please post here for all to see then we can take detail to PM.
I need not preach to this audience how good they are, or how cool they are. Viewing encouraged, nothing to hide, all mighty fine gear.
Included in case you cannot tell from the opening picture:
RV5, no holes no leaks no stresses
Sides, nothing to say really they are sides
Front, a replacement but still matches all other shades of the equipment (replaced as I touched a hot pan on the mesh of the other one)
Groundsheet, the older robust type that covers small footprint by folding or complete set-up with sides
King Goanna stretcher x 2, no stress, no heavy use, no loose rivets
Goanna stretcher x1, no stress, no heavy use, slept on once by a 4 year old
All poles required for full set-up
All pegs All guy ropes plus additional
Rhino Rack basket for the lot minus the beds of course, hens teeth? I think, maybe?
Electric hook-up, for electric..
Notes:
The RV5 bag has a small hole as pictured, hazard of life with these bags, extra bag with busted zip for a repair maybe. I would fix but then I may degrade the earthliness and ruggedness of my sales pitch.
This will need to be collect from N Yorks DL7, lets chat out the art of the possible for distant folks if you are interested.
I used just the tent for a work gig so temporarily used green guy ropes as they looked harder which I am quite taken with, so those and the old are supplied.
Pictures speak volumes:

Hi Dave, in the very rare event that you do end up splitting the set, may I put in dibs on the roof basket? I already have an RV5 + extras, the basket is the only thing I have been looking for.
Cheers, Paul.
PS - I think I recognise that vehicle in your avatar... WWTW...?

Hi Paul,
Sound, noted.
That was my D3 I used for a kind of battlefield tour on a fundraising gig that occurred annually for about 6 years. The Help for Heroes European Rally. Epic team behind it, raising a cumulative £1M when you added all our efforts up. Days gone by, was great when it was on. I went 3 times. That avatar pic is from 2014 in the Alps I think.
This awesome forum also contributed greatly😎Captain Nick Medhurst would ask:

Paul, mint, that’s great to hear, and small world eh. Yes the WWTW probably had the Land Rover fleet with the same livery.
Thanks. And all the best.Captain Nick Medhurst would ask:
