[For Sale] Easy Lift Suspension module price reduced

I have a brand new Easy lift Suspension module the full version for Discovery 3. I received this in part exchange for an item i was selling. Its brand new and still in the box, never been fitted. I don't know a whole lot about these, but it looks like a quality product, simple to install and can be removed very easy. these retail for €5100 plus postage for sale here for €380 plus postage. check manufacturers page here for more info.

Shocked I can't believe you're selling it and so cheap

I've had one on my D4 for a few months working out the gremlins with LRP, great addition that allows you to have any height you want without using the LR suspension control , so you can keep raised or lowered height at any speed Thumbs Up

Interested but a question. Excuse my ignorance. What's the difference between using this kit and an IID to change the ride height?

You can change at will whilst driving , no need to plug in the IID , Pro in my case, the unit is fitted in the car with a control that allows you to raise or lower to specific heights and return to std ifbyoubwantatbthe touch of a button 👍

It's very simple to operate , there a video to show the function Thumbs Up

I can't really see the point Greg ? You can change ride height from in the car when moving anyway. Why would you want 5 different heights ? Just another thing Greg could you be in extended off road height whist doing 80 down the motorway or would it not allow that ?

That's not to forget the app that both controls it but also shows wheel position, Android and shortly Apple iOS Thumbs Up

Not to deter from o.p but I'm with Mark. Plug in the IID and control that with an app too. I must be missing something. Confused

It's exactly that Mark, Landrover suspension height is restricted by speed to std height, you can't use off Road or Acess at normal road speeds, this kit allows you to have any height at any speed, some use it when landing or off road to get better clearance, others have it fitted for road use, either higher or lower that std ride height to suit the "look" wanted or imagine you need to level up a towing hitch etc

Many uses Mark Thumbs Up

I get your meaning now Greg. So for example If I wanted to fit big wheels and tyres that would require the suspension to be permanently "lifted" you would fit this Thumbs Up Or as i see quite a lot around Burnley The Asians have the suspension the their RRS lowered but can still do motorway speeds.

I still think I'm missing something vs the IID?
How is it installed? Does it have a separate switch to control it ... not needing an app?

Yes Mark Thumbs Up

Stephen, it has both app and separate wired rotary control in the cabin , height changes are in known mm increases and can be selected just like using the Landrover switch , somewhat different to a height change using IID , I have both , this is a simple height control module that that doesn't need anything plugging into the OBD port allowing changes at will in known mm increments and is simple to revert back to std at the flick of a switch 👍

Have a read of the IID FAQ page on the limits of the IID and EAS for suspension adjustment and tell me it's comparable 👍

I've used the BT IID I used to keep in my glovebox to store 3 different height settings and these heights were saved on the tool of my choice, any height I chose which I could use at any desired speed, but as you say it'd need the tool plugged in, but I can select from any height I desired.
That's why I was asking about the controller for this.
The addition of a separate wired switch with this is definitely a bonus and the fact it is a permanent install is also a plus, no faffing around looking for the IID and connecting it to the phone.
How and where is the module installed Greg?
Thanks for the explanation too.

The EAS ECU is on the drivers side behind the dash, accessible from the panel above the pedals (oppersite to where the CJB is on passenger side) , the Easy Lift kit has a loom that you plug into the EAS ECU and the Easy Lift module

The rotary controller then plugs into the module

App is looking good, final beta on iOS underway

Hope this helps the OP Rolling with laughter

Mark, have a look at mine at P'boro show

As for pies, what you you recon Wink
