[SOLVED] - Suspension Error C1A00-54

Hi all,
I have another topic but thought I should separate out a different issue I have. After going to an Indy who does my normal servicing to read codes he @rsed about with his computer trying to fix the suspension fault.

Now I have a red warning error and suspension compressor runs constantly. The system works and goes up and down but eventually goes into limp home mode.

I have bought a iid and the main code I am getting for this fault is -

C1A00-54 (AF) Control module - System programming failure - missing calibration

Now I thought I could do a suspension guided calibration to sort this issue out. But doesn’t seem to make any difference.

Anyone got any experience of this? Just trying to get back my lovely yellow warning light that the pressure doesn’t fill quick enough. Big Cry

Thanks in advance
Chris

Hi

Have u had a look at the module itself that sits behind the battery

Seen a few threads where water ingress or terminals on the connectors have been bad, causing an error

With the yellow warning light , that could be an air leak/ worn out compressor / incandescent dryer material blocked

Just an idea and the more experienced guys should be along

At the end of calibration you have to do something to put it back in normal mode from memeory.

Easy to forget. Set normal tolerance/adjustment I think

Thanks Stuart, Where about is that, by the fuse board? I have tried the various fuses.

But I think it must be some sort of setting the Indy messes about with. But can’t find anything with the iid.

Thanks Pete, I am sure I did that but might have missed it. Will plug in again and try again.

I thought the guided calibration sounded like the right option.

Thanks guys, I kind of did the calibration blind as although it’s guided even with the manual it’s not 100 clear!

Thank god for a forum!

Stuart! Shocked

That suspension sheet is exactly what I was after to get an understanding of how it all connects.

Will report back how we get on but the EAS mode sounds like my fault warning issue!

Fingers crossed!

Glad it helped

We’ve all been there with suspension errors and great you’ve got an iid which is a godsend

At least it’s its a nice sunny day Thumbs Up

Hi guys,
I have had a play with the system this weekend, but to no joy.

When they talk about enabling EAS I assume they mean > Serivce/Test > Suspension > Renable EAS

My options don't match those on the tickets (I assume its an IID update).

Which asks you to confirm by pushing up or down the EAS button (the height button in the centre console I assume). But nothing happens? Tried it multiple times

Calibrated the system 2-3 times every time the calibrated values are retained when I go back into the system.

Tried a hard reset battery off and shorted for 10 minutes (was time for a cup of tea anyway).

The system works perfectly (maybe going up a bit slow at the front, but I can fix this issue when the calibration error disappears) going up and down.

Regards
Chris

Had to remove the fuse for the time being as the compressor is going constantly and is getting to temperatures of in excess of 100 degrees! Shocked
