Could somebody please tell me where this goes...

I feel terrible for posting this, just bought a Disco 3 The other day, have lots of plans for it, new to the landrover scene and hoping I enjoy it! I will post a message in the new members section soon with all my plans before and after pics too,

At the moment there two faults in digging into the sunroof doesn’t work and the terrain response is just give the special programs unavailable message.

But anyways here’s the stupid question.
In the battery box I noticed this benign pipe loose, but where should the other end be?

Cheers guys

Daz

First up, welcome. Looks like the battery breather pipe. As far as the terrain programs are concerned, and get used to these words, get the codes read Rolling with laughter

most people here love the GAP IID BT. for use with your smart phone.

It's £400+ though. There is a group buy somewhere

it does depend on what you want to do - if its just read the codes then a 20 quid job off ebay will do. If you want tp do something with the codes then something a bit better is needed

Check its had the oil pump changed. The cam belts should have been done at 5 years or 105k miles. On 07-58 reg vehicles its worth changing the oil pump because the casing is weak, and if it snaps, the cam belt lets go and destroys the engine in a heartbeat.
