These are TRW ones, same as OEM, as fitted to mine:

http://www.advancedfactors.co.uk/sxp500014...2404-p.asp

Land Rover had stock issues with these towards the end of last year. Somebody put the wrong part in the right box. Rolling Eyes And continued to do so despite Nick (TLO) telling them what they were doing wrong. Whistle

In the end, Steve (Boringoldgit) sourced me a set of TRW ones and they were spot on and, like everything they sell, comes with a 2 year warranty. Thumbs Up

TBH, I don't think many folks will be removing their V8 brakes to refit TDV6 ones. Laughing

Breakers yard will be your best bet for used. Thumbs Up

Hi would be grateful for advice
having read the above thread is SXP500014 the correct part number for rear carrier to upgrade to V8 brakes on a 2006 D3 TDV6 HSE ?
I now have 4 x SXP500014 all genuine landrover parts from dealer all 4 are the same and don't fit
I was sure this was the correct part number but coiuld it be all four are wrong parts in right boxes?

Yes, quite possibly. Rolling Eyes

See my post above on this. I went through the same earlier this year and ended-up buying some OEM TRW ones from Advanced Factors:

http://www.advancedfactors.co.uk/sxp500014...2404-p.asp

These are exactly the same parts that you should have got from Land Rover but didn't. These come in a TRW branded box instead of a Land Rover branded box.

Unfortunately, there is no way of billing Land Rover for the time you wasted stripping the old parts off, figuring out why the "correct" part that Land Rover supplied you with doesn't fit, and then - after realising it's the wrong part - putting it all back together again using the old parts. Evil or Very Mad

I understand a well known Genuine LR parts supplier on here had fun and games trying to convince HQ that the wrong parts had been put in the correct box... Whistle

Buy from Advanced Factors. Thumbs Up

just been looking at this thread, I ordered from LR a new rear carrier, and the 2 attempts at supplying the carrier, LR supplied the TDV6 carrier for a V8, they are very slow to learn from their mistakes
