Incidently, I was rung by a survey company everytime I had work done at a certian SOR Perth stealer. That is until I told the surveyor about some failures on the stealers part. The stealer rang back to discuss my problem and then set about rectifying it. I thought this was great!
I went back, they did some more work, not the correct work mind you, but no more survey call. I think they only surveyed folks they thought would give glowing reports! Have a nice day!

Dealer has had a survey mob do some research work before but this was on behalf of LR Australia not the dealer give them a ring and see if they want your feedback on SA dealers. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

I didn't have an issue with Black Forest. warranty work not an issue, polite freindly and didn't mind me being in their workshop, what I do have an issue is the lack of respect shown by LRA. some received notification of the dealership change where I heard it from my (now former) dealer. took a week of chasing LRA and LRCC to find any info on the new dealer who was not ready to conduct business and was told to ring back in a week (a week after the changeover)before I could even book in for a service. why remove two long standing and respected dealerships and replace them with an unknown ?. why not just have an extra dealership and we need more service/repair centres instead of being hauled 1000's of kms for repair. it's almost like the people in charge have never left the city and have no understanding of the needs when going bush. maybe the Jap brands need more dealers, maybe not but at least they have the support network available. I'm off camping bye

I also have been contacted by LRA Research and you can imagine what I told them.
I agree, why didn't they just add another dealer not replace the existing ones. Nothing wrong with competition and peer pressure.
I am still very keen in writing an open letter to LRA. Perhaps we should put together a poll. Keep the suggestions coming.
thanks,

For a bit more background on the Dealership change, look at:
http://www.courts.sa.gov.au/judgments/Judg...SC-240.htm
Allowing for much legal mumbo-jumbo, it seems that the change over could have been handled better.
Incidentally, no response yet from Mr Jory to my fax - too much to expect, considering how busy they must be handling the enormous volumes of Land Rovers sold each month Ex Defender 110 200Tdi owner.
