South UK to Luxembourg - Calling the Tunisia guys...
Hopefully one of the ever so friendly guys coming this way next week can help out here... Seeing as half of you are stopping in Luxembourg...
One awning (eezi-awn) from NonStickNick to me.
2m in length but is rolled up and should be easy to strap to a roof rack (he says...hoping...)
If there are options please let me know.
Thanks in advance
(And of course I'll get the beers in on Thrusday night )The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

And Nick is at Abingdon at the moment helping with the set up for this weekend's event. No idea if that opens up a possibility for anyone...?The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

if Nick can meet me somewhere over the next day or so locally somewhere on his way to or from the show then Derek can pickup from me any day @ J13 M4 on his way past if that helps? I'm not going to make it to Abingdon this year even though it's only 13miles up the road as I have a family birthday 'event' I can't get out of and theeeeennn......???

Only iffy thing being taken into Tooneesia is all the well iffy beer I'll be buying in Luxemboorg as NJF assures me it's cheaper!!
Ken if you are going to jump off a bridge over the M4 can I get the Lambo and the tyre collection??
blue meanie is speaking to NonStickNick and will hopefully be collecting the awning on Sunday (fingers crossed...)
JKP, DSL - with a bit of luck I'll need your services for the second leg I'll let you know once I here from either Nick or blue meanie
(at this point I would say that jkp should pick it up as Derek's track record with D3 reliability, especially on Tunisia trips before even getting there is suspect... but I won't mention that... )The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

My record is 2 out of 2 for getting to Marseille, though sweating a bit last trip! Not sure jkp would be using the M4 though unless he's following the LR dat nav!
I'm staying in Reading at the Madejski Hotel Monday night and will have the oz tent basket and rack on the vehicle. if you can get it to me Monday evening I'll take it over for JFL - easier on the roof than inside your vehicle Derek
I can only do the pick up Monday night though as I'll be setting off from Reading early Tuesday for a client meeting down south before heading home late evening.LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
