Can I just clarify that these were PM notifications, not emails sent "as me" or "as DISCO5". The user registered and sent PMs to everyone having unlocked PMs with 3 quick posts.

Deleted them and I can only apologise that you were targeted like this, the number of times it has happened in 13 years is genuinely less than a handful. 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Hell's teeth, that must have taken some time and determination to send to the whole user base, 5 at a time. Even if they used DataLoader or similar, they would need the list of members to create the script to run it, and that is going to take some effort.
