Met up with the gentleman earlier today and exchanged 'folding stuff'for a Protector. Fitted an hour later and I am a 'Happy Bunny.'
It was a pleasure to meet 'Uncle Ray' and talk 'LR's with him especially as I was envious of him and his '130!'Phil
Keep smiling & remember it is a Land Rover!

Hi Oli, am pretty sure Uncle Ray is still producing these "must have" protectors for D4's.
Are you loving your new credit-card emptying toy?? Uncle Ray's spare wheel protector

H Ian, yes I'm enjoying the Disco very much. It's the first 4x4 ive owned, I love the lofty driving position and its very smooth, not anything like as noisy as I expected, just some nice turbo whoooooosh!
With regards to wallet emptying....so far after 4 weeks of ownership;
air con recharge ( I always do this with cars I buy) £60
New matts - £50
Door sill scuff plates - £45
rear wiper £7
Key fob cover case £25 (spare car was shedding its skin and was very grotty)
AUX Bluetooth dongle £5
and of course a new Land Rover key ring!
Not bad in four weeks. I'm lining up a gearbox flush, its done 118K, no idea if its ever been done! Then perhaps the 2014 facelift.

Picked up my new D4 and have sourced a full size alloy to use as a spare.
Can you give me a price on your spare wheel protector please?

Ordered Friday, arrived Monday, fitted today in about 20 minutes.
Just keep an eye on the protector with the edge on as it will collect things mud and salt and grime

Welcome.
The Ad Blue protector fits inside the wheel which faces downwards and the plastic cover protects the wheel. From memory you could fit the protector without the cover but you'd risk damaging the wheel if you did.
