As long as its cheap. A new wheel can be found on eBay (probably the one that was nicked) for waaay less than LR charge for them and I would hazard a guess, for waay less than LR will charge for a security device.

I would rather they nick my spare than smash and grab via the windows - a bigger PITA in my book.




(no inference to Nick at Yeovil was intended by my using the word nicked or nick BTW)

And there lies the problem. The winch mechanism ain't cheap and you don't see many on ebay Rolling Eyes

It's never going to be a very popular mod as it's hidden and it isn't sexy compared to the other stuff we spend our cash on one.

I've got on as I it's an insurance against a cold wet night on the side of some dangerous motorway, having a flat and realising that some Censored took my spare, weeks ago.
