special codes
I have been informed theres quite a few codes that can be put into the invisable button on the sat nav screen. These actions include a 15% engine power increase. Anybody know anymore?
Your informant is talking crap mainly but 753 will reveal various diagnostic menus, 1759 will give you nav on the move on older software versions, 666 will give you the power increase
The above answer may not be entirely accurate The End
I think I heard there was one that would lower the volume of the EPB after the tension had gone in the cables. The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Hey Slimer stop being so cruel.............
Everyone knows that 753 and 1759 don't work I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

And 5285 orders you a Big Mac when within 250m of a Mickey D!!! Ok that might not be totally correct either!

Rob - can you post a picture of your screen so I can see the invisible button...?
I've just popped out to take a look at mine and I'm wondering if it is on the other side (seeing as mine is LHD and yours is RHD)...The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

I think we can all acknowledge the 753, 1759 codes but I would be very surprised if another code to increase power has existed for the last 5 years without someone on here knowing about it 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

The biggest clue to their not being much else apart frorm 753 and 1759 is that the post you linked to was started in 2007. I'll virtually guarantee that if any other codes (especially to increase engine power) existed, then they would have been discovered by someone on here in much quicker time than the 2 years that has elapsed
edit: and as DG points out, certainly would not have escaped the eagle eyes on here for 5 years I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

I think he was winding you up, if it were there was a 15% extra power code a ex LR employee would be selling it all over e-bay by now.

Il dort pour oublier qu'il boit
C'est un bien triste
