If I drive slightly over the posted speed on some roads I get a series of three bongs.
This is not from the standard selectable speed warning on the instrument panel but seems to be connected to the GPS as the bongs happen at the same locations each time.
Does anyone know how to turn it off please? I can't find any menu entry on the GPS to cover this.

Welcome to the site, the overspeed warning is in the instrument pack, not the GPS, access it by holding the button on the left hand stalk down whilst in Park. you can turn it off there D4 HSE Luxury SDV6,

I think you can also enable / disable the over speed warnings by holding the 'i' button on the stalk whilst driving too.
When enabling I think it sets the warning to the speed you are going...
Maybe be wrong though.

Have you stored a memory point on your sat nav ...I have a few and they can be set to give you a sound when approching the saved point.
Can have bongs or bells and a few other sounds.
You can also opt to not show any icon on the screen..so it could be that.
Check in your stored points on the nav menu. G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
