Split turbo boost hose

My local LR garage has quoted me around £390 to replace the turbo boost hose, which has split. It's apparently a four hour job.
Also they want £89 to replace the front diff breather tube.

Is this why they're called Censored stealers?

which hose have you got split??? I got spare can be yours and if the one I am thinking of it takes 15 min and 15 quid to replace

There are two different pipes that may cause a problem.

If it is the pipe on the drivers side of the engine (top right and runs down to the front next to the drivers side wheel arch - turbo to intercooler) then as grzesiul says it's easy to fit. Stealer will charge £32 ish for a new intercooler pipe or Pete Bell (Bell Auto Services) will sell you a super dooper silicone one for £88.

If it is the other turbo pipe then I'm told it's a b Censored rd of a job to fit Sad
