Sprung a leak

Just had my D3 MOT'd

It passed, but as MOT tester was lowering it on the ramps, there was a loud bang and a escape of air

the car did not sink on any quarter, after the large escape of air

car was started up and air heard leaking from NSR area, but then stopped.
MOT tester took it for a spin around the block and it did not lower it's self...
DSC light is lit on dash and the normal ride height orange line next to Terrain response switch is now unlit

Car raised up on ramp and MOT tester & another mechanic inspected underneath they found that a small 4 inch long rubber hose had split (under pressure?) however this 4 inch section had been placed into a main airline and was held in place with 2 jubilee clips

deductions were that
who ever had the car before me bodged it
the last garage it went to last for reapirs bodged it ( and said nothing)

I have had a look online for photos, drawings, of the area where this hose is, but have drawn a blank.

Haynes manual... useless
LR workshop manual... useless Mind it is the CD version

So my question is, how many hoses are running along side the rear chassis section ? is it a LR only fix or can i buy the hose and have a garage fit it ?
How do i explain to the probably brain dead youth in the parts dept at my local LR dealership what i'm after, without them charging an arm & leg to put it on a ramp to have a look see.

Any help would be useful please.

Hiya,

Have you got any photos of the pipe and placement? Tbh, apart from the suspension I can’t think of any other airlines at the back, especially any big enough to take a jubilee clip. It could be the feeder pipe from the compressor to the reservoir, as the reservoir has a one way valve it wouldn’t empty, however if it is the feed, you may find the car drops over time as the compressor won’t be able to top up.

Sound of leak may have been compressor trying to fill....to a broken hose so stopped as it didn’t see increase in pressure.
