Squeak, clicking and wishing noise...! Help!!
Hi all,
I my disco 3 has just been to Gigglepin in Kent and cost me just shy of £1000 due to what I thought was a clicking sound coming from front passenger wheel whenever I break from speeds of 30 or more. I got it back yesterday and it’s still doing it. Whilst there they changed the number 1 fuel injector (it had perished and was leaking a tiny amount of fuel), changed drive shaft on passenger side and CV joint. Still making the sound when I drove home and still today. I have spoken to them and they have no idea but they are taking it in next week to have a look. Just worried as we currently have a what’s sounds like a clicking sound when only driven for more than 10 mins and breaking from 30 and above, whilst this is happening we have what sounds like a squeaky bed spring. I have filmed it but can’t seem to add the video to this...will try again...this squeaking gets less and less when the car slows at the same time as the clicking...! Anyone able to offer any advice?!

Difficult to tell from the video (wind noise) but I think I had a similar noise, which I couldn't trace for more than a year. When I changed the suspension arms recently, it turned out it was one of the front upper arm bushes!

I have attached all the receipts for all the work I’ve had done recently.
Anyone think I should get another point of view or stick with Gigglepin. They seem very knowledgeable and happy to look into things but I’m more than happy to try other recommendations in Kent(Sevenoaks).

Difficult to pinpoint but once all the obvious possibilities have been eliminated, (tyres, brake pads/discs,shafts, etc, etc) It might be one of the hand brake shoe retaining clips has broken or dislodged itself, and the spring has fallen down and is catching on the inside of the hub.
This image shows offending "U" shaped spring after falling down due to rust, and had become jammed between the bottom of the handbrake shoe and the hub (inside of brake disc)
You can see the polished spot on the clip where it was making contact causing a clicking sound and sometimes a squeal. Your issue may of course be something completely different, but in the event of it not being resolved this might be worth looking at.

Thank you, I’m having all four tyres changed tomorrow so will have a cheek6 look or get the garage to have a look if I show them the photo.
Thanks

I would investigate the other possibilities first as suggested earlier. Spinning each wheel in turn might help pinpoint the problem whilst they are off the ground.yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

When they did the drive shaft, did they check the wheel bearing?
