Are they redesigned calipers? Mine still squeals in reverse after 12K kms although the brakes don't get much usage where and how I drive.

Different but not re-designed.......they are from a 09MY D3. 2011 D4 Landmark, Mini Cooper SD Clubman, Range Rover Vogue SE

They fitted over the larger discs then, or did they replace the rotors as well? If still using the D4 rotors, is there any more clearance between the caliper and the rim, perhaps enough to fit 18" rims?

Not sure that larger discs are fitted to the rear of a D4 (compared to a D3 that is)....certainly they haven't changed the discs or the caliper mountings...just the calipers themselves. 2011 D4 Landmark, Mini Cooper SD Clubman, Range Rover Vogue SE

I was just trying to recall the specs. IIRC D3 rear was 350mm same as D4 rear, whereas D3/4 2.7 front are 325mm and D4 3.0 front are 360mm. D3 rear fitted 17" rims with those rotors & callipers, so that's a way to overcome the problem of fitting smaller rims to the rear. Now the front...
