I have one from Wollworths, has a big handle on the side, rather like a hook. The cool thing is you can keep either the mug in the holder or hook it onto the side of the holder.

In the name of resurrection: The stepped cup holders (MY08 at least) are removable. The stepped section removes so that us Americans can buy a 1.25 liter drink (2 for $5) as opposed to buying the $3.80 600ml bottle. This should create myriad of choices for those looking for the perfect cup.

Pretty funny but when I was looking at the D3 before we bought, the sales guy pointed this out to me..........He certainly knew how to sell to us yanks!

I am also fond of the bottle holder on the doors as they are perfect for that bottle of wine (which is of course not opened until our destination is reached).

Bottle holder in door holds the fire extingusher, drinks belong in the fridge Exclamation where they are kept cold and can easley got at when needed, which seems to be quite frequently, but only with someone else driving Whistle
Or if it is Red Bull the driver needs lots of this stuff if its a long distance, but not too much or your eyes may pop out Shocked

I was wondering where the fire extinguisher went...........A bit of a problem with the coldies being to close. I like beer. I like to drive. I dont drink and drive. Best bet is to keep the fridge and the beer in the back. Of course mpg l/100km comes down significantly when I know there is a cold beer at the next stop

Just tried a standard Guardian 1kg extinguisher in the passenger door bottle holder. Not a good fit, too tall and loose. Anyone know of an extinguisher that will achieve a snug fit there?

Hi Blowpipe,
I think that (powder) extinguishers should be stored horizontally.

Best Wishes,

The powder compacts over time, especially with vibration, and becomes too solid to be blown out when needed.

Vertical storage compacts the powder more easily, but whether you store it vertical of horizontal it should be taken out and given a good shake, including turning it upside down a few times, on a frequent basis. At least every service interval, but preferably every tank fill.

Well, you DO want it to perform when requested, don't you?

Thanks for the tip on extinguisher storage chaps. Mine is presently ambling around the back section, every now and again re-tucked under the far rear seat belt. Normally ends up in the pit beneath the third row of seats, so the shaking element seems to be achieved!

Like to get one of those nice silver Starbucks mugs, but as this thread is a few years old I guess that it's obsolete by now Big Cry

Just done a bit of a search, looks like the Starbucks one is no more and the Berghaus one is let down by dodgy build quality, in that the handle snaps off at will. Anyone come up with recent options?
