Start stop button replacement
I have searched, but couldn't find an answer.
Are there alternative buttons available, ie ones that don't eventually rub off? Maybe with a metal button?
Aliexpress job? Anybody have any experience with the ones available there?

Is the button cover the same concave shape on the inside ,or is it flat and does it cover hhe whole button? It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Did mine a while back .... got a red one .... think it was listed for an Evoque.
As a tip [especially if it's a cheap Chinese replacement], best to carry your original button in the Disco for a bit, just in case of failure.

I think I need the red one!
It might help me remember where it is as the MG5 one is almost exactly the same but on the other side of the steering column. A visitor from the dark side, my other vehicle is an is still an EV. Strictly speaking its SWMBO.

Is living with a 'smudged button' really that much of a disaster?
Sometimes you just have to accept these things and worry about something that's important.Heaven doesn't want me, and hell is afraid I'll take over.

It is by no means a disaster at all, as the functionality is still there. But here in the first world
sometimes it is nice to have things looking tip top, even if they are 14 years old.

I bought silver which also looks way better than previous, I also bought the 5 knob covers for the stereo/AC etc, they are pretty crappy, they go over the existing stuck on with double sided sticky, they also hide the led's on the AC levels!Ex D3 2008 HSE owner in UK, a part of the family let go to the Autotrader orphanage
