Steering pulling to right when Accelerating!!!!!!!

Just wondering whether anyone has come across this before. For instance when going down the motorway with the steering wheel straight and no acceleration it drives straight then when put the throttle down it pulls to the right like you are pulling out to over take in the next lane.
Please post with any ideas.

Thanks

torque steer on a D3 - well impressed Thumbs Up

problem with front diff - although not heard of before.

stuck brake caliper on passenger side (although I'd have thought it would be pulling left when not being "driven"), and square back up under acceleration.

new one on me

Tyre pressures?

Could be a badly knackered wishbone bush?

Think it might be the steering rack.
There is a knocking noise coming from it.

How much difference was there in pressure between the tyres.
Was it a significant amount?

When does the noise come?

which lane were you in as lane one had ruts from the artics and lane three had a slight arch to allow for surface water to dissapate towards the central reservation, combine low/incorrect tyre pressure, that might be yer problem Razz

or your tracking outs, when did you have it last checked (lazer aligned). Question

had it looked at today and they couldn't see anything significant for the amount of pull! Also had it tracked and hasn't made any difference. It pulls to the right which ever way the camber is on the road. Tyre pressures are ok.
Has anyone ever had something similar?

Cheers
