Stiff then flaccid… tight then loose!

Now that I’ve got your attention!!

Steering has just this week started playing up. One moment it’s tight, then loose. I’ve had a seized steering UJ before but I don’t remember it displaying these symptoms. Is it likely to be the lower UJ??

Same as mine went last year, steering shaft UJ needed changing. It’ll only get worse 😢

Had this exact issue a couple of weeks back, dowsed some spray grease on the lower steering column UJ and steering returned to normal after 2-3 miles. Ordered a new lower steering column Thumbs Up
