Easy Q, but I don’t know the answer, did all 14-16MY have stop start? Everything I look at suggests yes but I’ve found reference to non stop start models so now I’m not sure.

think adblue and stop start go together to give cheaper road tax....think its e6 engine

Adblue didn’t come in until late 2015, my D4 was April 15, it has stop start but not adblue

Not all 2014 models will have stop/start, but everything after will.
It came in at the same time as the facelift, when they dropped the 4 from the rear badge and the XS model was replaced with the SE or SE Tech  D4 MY15 (64) SE Tech, Loire Blue

The MY14 came in in late 2013 (October?) at the same time as the face lift so does that mean that all the face lift Disco 4s have the stop start then?

Sorry, my mistake!
It’s the ‘63’ reg ones to watch for, some are 2013MY some are 2014MY
2014MY should be the facelift model which “should” have stop/start!
Easiest way to check is to look for the on/off button for it located underneath the hill descent button in the centre console. D4 MY15 (64) SE Tech, Loire Blue

What to be aware of is getting MY year mixed up with REG year, there can be a difference as some MY13 year are not registered (road taxed) until after 1st April making them 14 reg. and theoretically more desirable, all 14MY have stop start and facelift and are lower VED(road tax), the stop/start is brilliant IMHO. The main beam not so, but is made up for it with excellent indicators, probably the bet on any vehicle made not like some that are built io the headlamps and almost invisible. It can when others can't,

Thanks, that’s cleared it up, I was hoping not all MY14 on had Stop/Start as it would make one of my projects much easier without it.
