I assume nothing easy here then. I've manually changed the battery for now. Lets see how it lasts.
Anyone know what conditions it gets charged under normally engine running. Left it running for about 30 mins and checked voltage every now and again and it never showed charge going in.Dorian Woolger

I must admit that it's immaterial to me whether the stop/start battery is charged or not.

Doesn’t the smaller battery only keep the electrics working whilst it is stopped
I know that when my stop/start isn’t working I charge through the towing electrics and it will works again.🤷🏻♂️
If the little battery is not holding a charge think you get the light with a line through it.

I've attached a separate CTEK lead directly to the Stop/Start battery and give it the occasional charge when I'm not using the Disco much.Disco 4 Landmark
