Storing phone numbers using keypad |
|
Afternoon all,
I have the premium audio etc and i'm trying to store some numbers in the phone book. I can store the nametag etc on the voice recognition but i;m damned if i can make her understand the numbers so need to input them manually.
Anyone help please? If you aren't living life on the edge, you're taking up too much space!!

Try this:
Go through the normal voice procedure but when Doris asks you for 'Number', just use the keypad on the radio to punch in the numbers. I think that was how I did it a long time ago.
I also found that inserting numbers by voice & giving only 4 numbers at a time worked well. Ren Colyn

She hardly understands a word I say - she's originally a Cheshire car, she doesn't speak Lancashire!
Thanks for the tip, i'll try it tonight. If you aren't living life on the edge, you're taking up too much space!!

I found that the more off I got with her the louder I spoke . Then as per a post somewhere on the forum I talked softer , and this worked a treat . Didn't quite get to whispering sweet nothings , but close

Hi, Just to let you know I figured it out in the end, just for anyone else who is struggling it is in the Voice Settings on the Sat nav screen. Go into add voice name and it provides you with a keypad to put the number in before simply asking for the name.
Phew! If you aren't living life on the edge, you're taking up too much space!!
