After much thought I have decided to give the Stormers a final go . I will go for 275 45 x20 on General UHP. Im feeling extra confident that car now drives spot on and is also out of warranty .Anyone advise best price I might get these for in UK or Ireland? some people never learn.....Googsy

PM Shrinky, He's running Stormers and I'm fairly sure the tyres were 295/55/20 unless my eyes were playing tricks on me. Said he had to get them balanced twice but now running perfectly - don't believe he's done anything else to the motor - but could be wrong.LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

correct nearly 295/45/20 I know a lot of people have had issues but after the second balance I don't have any problems at all 8)
I think the extra weight of the 295's make them harder to balance. 275's sound like a good idea.Global Warming.... I'm luvvin it

I've run 20's (295/45/20) for the past year or more & since having them balanced (on the 2nd day of ownership) i've never had any wobble at all. I assume i'm in the same club as Ron & everything seems to run fine.
Id consider the 20's again in a shot, the ride quality is OK & they look the dogs danglies
thanks all ! Al Cope I knew you'd come back around! Googsy

Cheapest I have so far is £950 with Wheelworx direct to include shipping to Ireland. all the others on EBAY only offer Nexen Tyres which I think look naff and are not a great tyre. DGT where offering me 275 45 20s General UHP + 4 rims at 895 but that did not include shipping. Still think I should be doing better though.
Barryg - ISTR you got a good deal on yours ?
