The pre facelift D2 (slide 16) is still the best looking! 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4
2017 to date: FFRR SDV8
2023 to date: 2 x FL2 as “second” cars 🙄
2021 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200
2022 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200 & sidecar!
(One of only two known to exist in the world!)

Wonder if that is on the same engine.
One of the ex traffic officer d4s came up on eBay recently. Think it had done 268k and was up for sale at a very reasonable £6.5k. Poverty spec though....

Budget constraints meant it shared many features with the Range Rover, including the chassis, suspension, body frame, inner door panels and even windscreen.
Not to mention Marina / Ital. door handles and Sherpa Van headlights

And those Maestro van rear lamps! Never thought that was a great idea, as it meant a the rear corners of the Disco had to take on the same shape as the Maestro van - which wasn't a great look 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

I've still got 3 of those early d1's kicking about. 1x 3 door mpi/200tdi conversion, one v8 and my old much modified beast. Plus the open air 300tdi half way abandoned resto kicking about down the yard. Future classics them son. Jarrod
