A Strange One.
Driving along yesterday and a slow but consistant "tick, tick tick" was coming from behind the dash somewhere. Anyone who has heard an electric fence tick on a telephone line will know what I mean.
Pulled up, removed the key, relocked and unlocked the car and proceeded normally.
Any ideas?2006 HSE TDV6 Bonatti Grey, ECB bull bar, tropical roof, LG Next G car kit, Tom Tom GPS, UHF, Mitchell Bros tow bar, Kimberley Kamper Limited Edition camper trailer and 23 foot Haines Signature half cabin (Towed separately!)

In the BAD old days when I was in the Army Reserve in the early 80s we used to simulate tanks by going "tank, tank, tank"......
..... BUT that has nothing to do with your 'Tick' problem regards

This is what I was going to suggest the noise may be. It has got me a couple of times.05 V8 SE Java Black 19's and Sunroof
My controller does this on occasions when polling voltage until the main battery is charged. The relay ticks in and out at an indicator type pace.TDV6

Mine does this too. Took a while to locate the noise. Unplug the aux cable when not using the ipod or don't select AUX and see if it goes away

Thanks men,
There was no CD on and the Ipod wasn't connected. The radio was on, so I switched it off and the noise was still there. It only went when I re-booted.
Could be the turban lads, could be a 200 series driver, couldn't be an electric fence. And no dual battery.2006 HSE TDV6 Bonatti Grey, ECB bull bar, tropical roof, LG Next G car kit, Tom Tom GPS, UHF, Mitchell Bros tow bar, Kimberley Kamper Limited Edition camper trailer and 23 foot Haines Signature half cabin (Towed separately!)
