My 07XS had one EGR replaced under warranty a couple of weeks ago and has just been diagnosed with the second EGR failure (57K but under warranty - phew !). At a similar time as (and since) the second EGR engine management system warning appeared, two additional strange messages have appeared.
The first insisted that the drivers door was open (when it was not) and randomly cured itself, the second says "park brake off lift switch to apply".
Both seem to appear quite randomly - tonight the park brake off message came up for no reason as I was reversing.
The stealers diagnostics only show the EGR fault but they are also proposing to replace drivers door latch under warranty.
Any ideas ?
