No, before we arrived there. In one of the very deep sided water filled trenches (best word I have to describe them). About tank width across I’d guess with a steepish approach and departure. There’s a few like it on the Plain.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Strata florida
Went over strata at weekend right mess loads of off piste stuff idiots gonna spoil it for genuine Greenlaners was shocked at the state of it lots of off piste bike tracks also
The drivers who do that deserve to be tied between two cars and pulled apart. The local council spent £££££ on keeping it driveable - next time, they won't bother in the hope that it gets so bad it doesn't get used. The bikers just can't be bothered to wait to let others pass and so rip through to the side, off-piste.
It just gives the antis ammunition. The off-piste pratts probably film themselves doing it and put it on FaceBook / YT, etc.,

Those are tank track washes, designed to get the worst of the mud off Challengers and other tracked vehicles.
Did an exercise on the plain many years ago, and a young officer with his driver got recovered in having driven their 110 Defender into one of the pits, Water was up to the windscreen and they had to sit on the roof until the wrecker arrived and when the sump plug was pulled out it was basically just muddy oily water pouring out 2011 D4 XS 305 MY12 - gone but not forgotten

I think that was the one about half a mile after the German Village, heading West towards VA's crossing.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
