Today i had my 60000 mile service done.
I have been dealing with Barrie , who i have never met there before , but is deffinatly an asset to the dealership
He phoned me half way through the day to tell me what was going on and what time it would be ready.
They replaced the steering wheel under warranty ( sticky and going bald at the top) .I also have had the farting /squeeking noice just started about a week ago from the air con vent , however it stopped its self yesterday .Barrie said keep an eye on it and if it starts again pop it in .Although i hope it dosent come back !!
Any way great price , courtesy car thrown in and someone who was very helpfull aswell
Congrats Stratstone for another great service ..see you in about 3 months for my next one G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Sorry Barry, you need to be a sponsor to put a weblink in your post. Customer feed back is good for your dealership.

Just like to add another big thank you to Barrie at Stratstones Bury.
Had a unexpected free afternoon so i thought i would chance my luck and ring Barrie and see if i could get someone to look at my battery and park brake light .
I had been doing some gravity tests on the battery and it was constantly showing low.
They were extremly busy but said drop it off and we wil try and have a look.
Dropped the car off with them and left them too it .
Barrie authorized a new battery to be put on the car to hopefully see if it is an actual battery issue or something else ...at least i can rule out the battery for a few days now .
I had a long chat with two of the engineers while we tryed to find out the root cause .They said that the car is pulling more milliamps than is recomended and would need more investigation.
There was talk of maybee the EPB module sucking some life out of the car ..as the fault cannot be cleared .
So again ...big thanks to Barrie for squeezing me in and the techs for there very helpfull advise G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

It's nice to know at least one of the chain can be trusted. well done to them.
"I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you read is not what I meant"
Have to say that having got some finance quotes off them recently, the GFV and the APRs given will mean a dirth of Disco owners in the Bury area for some time to come.....
