Tres cool. I remember spotting this in London once and thinking I was seeing things. No longer a D3 owner but still subscribed to multiple threads!

Extra leg room, I guess. Have you ever tried sitting in the middle row of a TDi? It's a bit "snug" for such a large vehicle. No longer a D3 owner but still subscribed to multiple threads!

I also saw a blue one outside an embassy in London where the extension was part of the rear doors rather than a slab of metal between the front and rear.
